Foundation welcomes new employee
Anchorage - Sandi Miller, formerly Senior Administrative Assistant at TriWest Healthcare Alliance, has joined the Rasmuson Foundation as Executive Assistant. “We are pleased to welcome Sandi as she brings considerable experience, talent and energy to our team,” commented Foundation President Diane Kaplan.
Sandi most recently worked for TriWest’s Alaska Market Vice President, and was instrumental in starting the Anchorage Hub office. Previously, she spent 14 years with Washington Mutual, Inc., one of the country’s largest financial institutions, where she served as executive assistant to the chief financial officer and vice chair for enterprise risk management. Prior to this, she served as the CEO’s customer service liaison. Sandi earned her B.A. in Elementary Education at Arizona State University.
Long-time executive assistant Nancy Miles will take on a new opportunity at the Foundation working in the areas of special projects and compliance.
The Rasmuson Foundation was created under a declaration of trust in May of 1955 by Jenny Rasmuson to honor her late husband, "E.A." Rasmuson. Today, the Rasmuson Foundation continues this tradition by supporting non-profit organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life for people throughout the state. By assisting these groups that address basic needs, arts and culture, and projects that address special circumstances, the Rasmuson Foundation contributes to healthy, enriched and productive lives for Alaskans of all ages.
