Lily is the resident communications fellow. She moved back to her home state of Alaska in June 2013 after more than a decade of studying and living in other parts of the country and world. She has a bachelors degree in rhetoric and film studies from Whitman College and a master of arts in media studies from the New School for Public Engagement. Lily lived and worked in China for four years. While abroad she also spent a year traveling and a year in Cambodia volunteering with the Phnom Penh Animal Welfare Society. In her spare time Lily is a freelance photographer and writer interested in community, design for public good and social change.
