The Foraker Group
The Foraker Group has three major goals to help enhance Alaska's nonprofit sector. First, to build the state's philanthropic infrastructure by helping nonprofit organizations function at capacity. Second, to provide high-quality, cost-effective technical services. Third, to increase the skills of the volunteers and staff working in the sector.

The Denali Commission
The Denali Commission is an innovative federal-state partnership established by Congress in 1998 to provide critical utilities, infrastructure, and economic support throughout Alaska. Its focus encompasses five major categories of improvements: Energy; Health Care Facilities; Training; Intergovernmental Coordination; and Other Infrastructure.

Administration for Native Americans (ANA)
ANA promotes the goal of social and economic self-sufficiency of American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and other Native American Pacific Islanders, including Native Samoans. Self-sufficiency is that level of development at which a Native American community can control and internally generate resources to provide for the needs of its members and meet its own economic and social goals.

Economic Development Administration (EDA)
EDA's mission is to enhance community success in attracting private capital investment to generate jobs, help retain existing jobs, and stimulate industrial and commercial growth in economically-distressed areas of the United States. EDA assistance is available to rural and urban areas of the Nation experiencing high unemployment, low income, or other severe economic distress.

US Department of Agriculture Rural Development
Rural Development is committed to helping improve the economy and quality of life in all of rural America. Its financial programs support such essential public facilities and services as water and sewer systems, housing, health clinics, emergency service facilities and electric and telephone service. It promotes economic development by supporting loans to businesses through banks and community-managed lending pools. Rural development also provides technical assistance to help communities undertake community empowerment programs.

Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority
Provides leadership in advocacy, planning, implementing and funding of a comprehensive integrated mental health program to improve the lives and circumstances of its beneficiaries. It is the only organization of its kind in Alaska dedicated to assisting those who experience mental illness; mental retardation or similar disabilities; chronic alcoholism with psychosis; or Alzheimer's disease or related dementia.
