
Cathryn Rasmuson
Cathryn Rasmuson has served on the board of directors of Rasmuson Foundation since 1997 and has served on many nonprofit boards over the past four decades.
Her most memorable experience is dog-mushing more than 1,000 miles from Anchorage to Nome with Joe Redington in 1993 on the Iditarod Trail.
She was born in Canada and moved to Alaska in February 1969. Cathy married Ed Rasmuson in September 1969 and became a United States citizen in 1977.
She has two daughters, Natasha and Laura, and five grandchildren. She hopes her two sons, Bruce and David, are reunited with their dad in heaven.
She devotes her time to being a friend, a grandmother, travel and Rasmuson Foundation.
