Carmen Goodwin joined the Foundation in January 2009, bringing extensive experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and benefits through her prior work with Latash Investments, Cook Inlet Tribal Council and Hawaiian Vacations. She holds professional certification from the Society for Human Resource Management as well as a certificate in nonprofit management. Her duties include coordinating the Foundation’s workplace giving campaign.

Originally born in Mexico and raised six years in California, Carmen has called Alaska her home for almost 35 years. It is where she raised her son and met her husband of 10 years. She enjoys hiking, fishing, and exploring the beautiful sites this state has to offer.
