Evon Zerbetz began working in relief printmaking over 18 years ago. Zerbetz’s linocuts are originals and printed individually from her hand-carved blocks and hand tinted. In addition to linocut, she works in mototype, collagraph and uses printmaking methods to create mixed-media works. Zerbetz has also illustrated five children’s picture books. She has been awarded four public art commissions in Alaska and her work is represented in eight galleries throughout Alaska and the Midwest. Zerbetz received a 2005 Rasmuson Foundation Individual Artist Award and currently lives in Ketchikan where her workshop is located.
