New Pathways | Alaska was launched in 2014 to promote long-term sustainability in Alaska’s arts organizations through support of innovation as a response to complex challenges. Unlike technical assistance, the program was intended to build the adaptive muscles of arts organizations, increase community impacts, and ensure that arts organizations were ready to seize the future as leading contributors to vibrant Alaska communities.
Organizations were selected to participate in two cohorts over three years. The goal was that selected organizations would become oriented toward adaptive change, develop a concept for organization innovation and fully implement an innovation project with capital funding made available through the program.
New Pathways | Alaska was provided at no financial cost to selected participants, but required time and commitment from the leadership of selected organizations.
New Pathways | Alaska was a collaboration of Rasmuson Foundation, EmcArts, the Foraker Group, and the Alaska State Council on the Arts.
Rasmuson Foundation is not accepting applications for New Pathways | Alaska at this time.
