On June 29 and 30, the Rasmuson Foundation Board of Directors visited Sitka to see some of Foundation-funded projects and meet old and new friends among the nonprofit community. The slideshow captures some of the sights from our trip.

We were able to stop in at KCAW, Devilfish Gallery, Sea Mountain Golf Course, Sitka Trail Works, Cancer Survivors Park, Sheldon Jackson Childcare Center and campus, and Sitkans Against Family Violence. We also hosted a reception that was attended by nearly 80 folks from Sitka.

Over the years, more than $5.5 million in grants have been awarded to organizations in Sitka. As Chairman Ed Rasmuson noted, Sitka never seems to be at a loss for good ideas.

Thanks to Sitkans for welcoming us.
