Anchorage, AK – Rasmuson Foundation, in partnership with EmcArts, Foraker Group and the Alaska State Council on the Arts (ASCA), will make a special announcement at the Latitude: 2014 Alaska Arts Convergence on May 1st at 2 p.m. following the kickoff keynote address by Richard Evans, president of EmcArts. Mr. Evans’ presentation, “The Real Work – New Practices for a New Era in the Arts,” will speak to nonprofit organizations adapting, innovating and surviving in the business of art.
After the keynote, there will be an unveiling of a new program that will stimulate innovation and adaptive leadership capacity in Alaska arts organizations.Representatives from Rasmuson Foundation, Foraker Group and ASCA will be on hand for the announcement and to respond to audience questions.
Latitude: 2014 Alaska Arts Convergence is a statewide arts and culture conference sponsored by the Alaska State Council on the Arts that will be held May 1-3 at the Captain Cook Hotel.
