The Alaska Sudan Medical Project (ASMP) is a group of Alaskans working to provide health clinics, wells and sanitation systems for the impoverished of South Sudan. Many ASMP volunteers are spending this year’s holiday season in Old Fangak – a testament to their dedication and spirit of service. ASMP began as a designated fund of the Alaska Community Foundation.
