Spotlight: Alaska Sudan Medical Project

The Alaska Sudan Medical Project (ASMP) is a group of Alaskans working to provide health clinics, wells and sanitation systems for the impoverished of South Sudan. Many ASMP volunteers are spending this year’s holiday season in Old Fangak – a testament to their dedication and spirit of service. ASMP began as a designated fund of the Alaska Community Foundation. Through dedicated volunteers and funding support, little by little, Alaskans are effecting change, even a world away. Read more in this week's post.
